location: Csepel, Budapest
Our public art installation was prepared within the framework of Placc art festival. The location was the roof of a 6000 m2 building within the Csepel housing estate. The building was designed to provide a communal space for the inhabitants, with a shopping arcade, banks, etc., but is now dysfunct. Our aim was to connect, with the help of the installation’s sensory system, the vast open space of the grey roof with the people moving about underneath and living in the blocks surrounding it.
